BEHIND THE LENS

Hello! My name is Natalie Carpenter, and welcome to Life, Stilled Photography. I am a senior at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. My hometown is in the beautiful Piedmont of NC, in Chapel Hill. I have been taking photos ever since I had my first Polaroid camera, running around taking pictures of my stuffed animals at tea parties and of my friends in various costumes when I was five. I upgraded and took numerous classes to fuel my interest in photography enough to start my own business doing what I love most in the world; capturing life through a camera lens.

My services include anything ranging from single to family portraiture to covering events such as weddings, engagements, birthdays, and parties. I also will take photos for a business or advertisements that need stock or on-site photography. Portraiture can be on-location with a full light studio I am able to transport to wherever is needed.
